HARYANA Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda can go to any extent to help his friends and he cares two hoots if that kicks up a controversy. Recently, he appointed four new members of the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSU). The day he appointed his four favourites, the decision boomeranged. He had appointed Savita Tayal, wife of his close friend, ML Tayal, an IAS officer and former Principal Secretary to the Haryana Government, to the Commission. Tayal is currently a member of the Competition Commission of India. His brother-inlaw, Justice Hemant Gupta, is a judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Read more..
