Bric-a-brac: Gadkari says no
THE formation of
government in Maharashtra really put BJP in a quandary. When it was realised
that Devendra Fadnavis can’t hold the forte, RSS stalwarts and the Prime
Minister’s Office contacted another stalwart of Maharashtra Nitin Gadkari to
hold the command and take oath as Chief Minister of the state. Gadkari was
keeping track and knew that moving from cabinet minister to chief minister was
a move by his detractors to derail his presence at the centre.
