NOBODY knows what the RSS is doing in Haryana. The cadre is perturbed and disillusioned with the appointments of three new Information Commissioners. Even many senior civil servants who were expecting to be appointed were also aghast to see the list of new appointees. The appointments show that either the RSS/ BJP does not have competent cadre to fill the posts or the extraneous pressure on Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is so much that he appears to be helpless. The Haryana Government appointed Lieutenant General KJ Singh, Jai Singh Bishnoi and Kamal Deep Bhandari as State Information Commissioners just before the announcement of the general elections.
