CONGRESS ticket-seekers in Delhi are an extremely worried lot. They do not quite understand their party’s revolving door policy. Just when they thought they had won over and made themselves known to Birendra Singh, central in-charge of Delhi, by delivering milk, lassi, sweets, dry fruits and other gifts to his doorstep, the party high command has replaced Singh with Bihar leader Shakeel Ahmed. The reshuffle means they will have to queue up at a new door and perform the entire charade again. This is true, particularly for the B and C grade leaders who are little known at the national level.
