Once rated to be the second-most powerful woman leader in the Congress, second only to Sonia Gandhi, Ambika Soni seems to losing her prominence. So much so that scribes are now mockingly calling her biography as ‘The rise and fall of Ambika Soni’. So far there are no indications that she would be given any major responsibility now that she has lost her ministership thanks to her own politics, say insiders.
