the Indian defence forces having a budget of $30 billion for

Capital this March

New Delhi gears up to hold the seventh biennial international defence
exhibition ’Def Expo’ for four days starting March 29, all major
armament manufacturing giants will make a beeline for Pragati Maidan in
an effort to grab a share of the more than $30-billion market.
India
plans to procure weapons and allied systems for $30 billion in the
coming seven to eight years and recession-hit western economies are
desperate to gain a foothold in order to provide jobs back home, be it
the US, Europe or Russia.
The
uproar in the British parliament last month after India selected French
fighter jet Rafale over the Eurofighter (made by a consortium of the
UK, Italy, Germany and Spain) for the $20-billion contract for 126
medium multi-role combat aircraft (MMRCA).......readmore
